This is a reproduction! [PLEASE READ] [Painting is at least 10+ years old]This painting is a artistic impression of a painting titled "Vase with irises against a yellow background" by Vincent Van Gogh. The original is preserved in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. It is one of the works done while he was admitted to the psychiatric clinic in Saint-Rémy, a town near Arles.This painting was garage kept in a sealed plastic bag and the back of the frame still looks brand new. I would say it is in great condition. The back is designed to be hung by thumbtack/nail with quality wire and should hang beautifully where ever you desire. Transparency: I am unaware if this painting was truly hand painted, however it does appear to be hand painted. There is unique brush patterns through out the whole painting that lead me to believe it's an authentic hand painted artistic impression. However there is a small possibility it was made to look hand painted, as we haven't gotten the painting examined by an expert. If check you the picture with the plaque on display you can see clearly some lines are not crisp and some are broad, some thin. This is what leads us to believe this is hand painted. However due to no expert clarifying this and the origins of the painting being unknown we will not list this as 100% certified hand painted. The beautiful wooden frame is high quality, and it comes with premium looking gold colored engraved plaque that reads 'Vincent Van Gogh 1853 - 1890'. Haven't found any other painting on the market similar to this one. This appears to be a truly unique piece, there is nothing like it on the market its one of a kind.Dimensions: 19 L X 15W.From what we have found reproductions of this quality can go for about 300$ - 1200$ or more to the right buyer.
