These wheels belong to the household of Mavic designs that are currently the fastest wheels on the planet, with incredibly low drag coeficients. My wheels are the step below CXR (CXR retail at $2700.00). Even in crosswinds they perform at crazy fast numbers. Well matched on local Houston roadway rides where the surface is more flat. Best suited for triathletes where dragging is unlawful. Contrary to popular viewpoint and usual sense, in crosswind conditions, in the wind tunnel, the drag coefficient on these wheels in fact drops ... that implies these wheels are even quicker in crosswinds.
