SCOTT Speedster S40 (2010) medium 54 cm (I'm 5'-8"). Exactly what a champ! From driving a couple of miles to 192 mile tours in New England, this SCOTT Speedster has actually treated me so well. It's time for me to update my ride, so snag this gem and enjoy it as much as I have. All components are initial except for:.- Front tube and tire replaced as necessary.- Shimano clips (negotiable).- NEW chain.- NEW rear cassette.- NEW rear tube and tire.- NEW Serfas Acuna saddle.- THE URBAN WORKS tune-up carried out in May 2014 at Urban Bike Gallery:. Get rid of drive train (chain, and both derailleur's), clean in parts cleaner, re-installed clean and lubed. Clean entire bike and polish. Lube chain and jockey wheels. Tighten stem bolts, seat post bolt and axel nuts. Tighten crank arms. Adjust brakes. Adjust derailleur's and lube cable televisions by loosening derailleur taking care of bolts; moving housing out of the way and apply oil to cable television. True wheels while in truing stand. Pump up tires to appropriate pressure. Check all screws, nuts and bolts, tighten if required. Test ride and see to it brakes don't squeal, move into every gear and check for drive train slippage and odd noises. All current upkeep performed at Urban Bike Gallery.
