Being sold here is a once in a lifetime chance to own original hand drawn Architectural Renderings of The Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino. These three specific renderings hand drawn by the Architectural renderer Paul Karoll depict a design alternate for both the hotel and registration lobby during a 2005-2006 redesign and remodel. The design depicted in the renderings were not chosen for the remodel but you can definitely see elements of it that are part if the current design. Most notably, the mosaic tile clad ovular columns.These are seldomly seen and RARE Vintage Las Vegas RIO Casino Architectural Paintings on paper board, by architectural illustrator Paul Karoll, for Marnell Corrao Associates' interior design project of the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. These works depict the Registration Lobby and the Main Casino Lobby. The left and right artwork are different viewpoints of the Registration Lobby, while the center painting depicts a bustling scene at the Main Casino Lobby. These paintings are meticulously detailed and display the very modern and stylistic aspects of the renowned Rio Hotel. Each work is signed: "P. Karoll" at the lower edge. These pieces likely date from 1986 - 1998, when Marnell Corrao Associates was known to be designing the casino. These paintings are approximately 30 x 42 inches (including matting.) Actual artworks are approximately 22 x 34 inches.Very good condition for age and storage, with some light scuffing, creases in the matting, and moderate edge wear (please see photos.) These architectural illustrations usually never leave the company, and to find them on the open market or in private hands is very uncommon. You will never see anything like these again.
